I really am not a fan of sony's "we've got to do everything in house" attitude. Memory sticks drive me crazy and offer absolutely no advantage over the SD Cards... and now, they've even gone a step further and made the "ultra light" so I have to use a stupid adapter to plug it into my laptop (which finally, laptops within the last year or so have started to support the old memory stick format). The best solution I've heard is to remove all 4 feet and replace them with slightly thicker fee at - here's the tricky part - you might be better off with just 3 feet (2 at back, one at front).
